I can't believe it is Friday, and I am back in the office. This week FLEW! This group of campers and chaperones were phenomenal, and we couldn't have asked for a better week. This group was so ready and willing to go with the flow, and that made Tuesday such a wonderful day. The weather decided to treat us to rain in the morning making us have to change course. We toured the Aberdeen Ironbirds Stadium, which is right next to the complex where we played! Tuesday afternoon was beautiful, and campers and chaperones got to partake in everything North Bay had to offfer! Tuesday evening we were treated to a presentation from our partners at the Travis Manion foundation, who were with us all week leading teams through a series of activities to teach teambuilding and communication. Wednesday was our last full day of camp, and it was indeed full of fun! The weather was beautiful, and campers were surprised with playing TWO games rather than going through skill clinics. The afternoon saw a presentation from the Maryland State Police Canine Unit, as well as Ernie Graham, former professional basketball player, who spoke to the camp about the importance the decisions we make while we are young have on our future. Once we got back to North Bay, the campers and chaperones had a blast getting one more afternoon of fun in! The evening saw a delicious dinner of pizza and wings, topped off by a dance party and a presentation of the campers and team(s) of the week! Congrats to our campers of the week and Blue & Green 2 for being our team of the week!

This week was such a success, I hope that every single participant had a great time and took somethign from this wonderful experience.

The fun isn't over just yet for the Foundation staff as we have one more week of camp starting on Monday! But you can relive some of the memories above, as well as on Twitter by checking out the #CRSFCamp hashtag, or by following our program team list on Twitter! be sure to check back next week for more updates on the fun!
