Today is World Kindness Day and is a great day to have a conversation with your kids about being what that means. Challenge your youth to go above and beyond to show kindness towards others in their daily lives - not just today but every day. Ask your kids to do one thing against the norm every day this week. Maybe it is helping their classmate complete a math problem, helping clean up from lunch, or picking up trash on the floor. Whatever it is, encourage them to be kind to someone or something. As our friends at the Travis Manion Foundation say, “If not me, then who?” Be that person to help their community, friends, and family better themselves and ultimately, each other.
