Turn off your electronics, unplug your phones, and don’t look back.

Even a couple of hours without technology is the best way to get in touch with your body, spirit, and mind.  Whether it’s on mountain hills, dirt trails, or open green grass plains, hiking is a calming activity that everyone needs to take time to try. While you can hike solo, hiking as a group...

Among this year’s players, for example, are Jose Altuve and Anthony Rizzo.  Jose Altuve is the American League starting second baseman from the Houston Astros.  Anthony Rizzo is the National League starting first baseman from the Chicago Cubs.  Both of...

After a week full of camp activities, demonstrations, and inspiring guest speakers, it is safe to say our campers had an experience of a lifetime. With the wonderful opportunity to hear presentations from our public safety partners as well as former University of Maryland basketball player Ernie Graham, Rachel’s Challenge, and our very own Brooke Austin, our campers left inspired to live a positive life. Even in such a short time, we could see that our campers were taking all they learned throughout the week and applying it into their final games. We saw an endless amount of respect...
